How do I fix the error: The server principal "GUID" is not able to access the database.


After moving a Dynamics SL (Solomon) database to a new server the following error may occur:

Message - The server principal "<GUID>" is not able to access the database "SLDatabase" under the current security context.

This can be fixed using the Solomon Database Maintenance Screen. (98.290.00).
  1. Select 'Synchronize All Ownership & Security'
  2. Click Update Database
